About Teo
HOW WAS I LED INTO THIS PATH?
My story
My name is Teo, I was born and raised in a small town in the south of Romania, next to the Danube by engineer parents and an older sister. I used to call myself Dodo while getting acquainted with the art of speaking. That faded away when school started, and I remained Teo for everyone.
Ever since I was little, I was seeing the world around me in colors. Every person I was interacting with, as a small child, was surrounded by this beautiful colorful light that nobody could explain (especially in the 90s). I was told so many times that it didn’t exist, and so, I started to ignore those colors until they were gone. Little did I know I would end up working with auras and Chakra colors.
My earliest memories of me growing up are linked to singing, and using my voice. I was always eager to sing to people. I loved going on stage to perform when my parents weren’t watching and wining small contests. I loved Romanian traditional music and clothing so much that I was really close to being on TV when I was around 6 years old to perform a funny little song called ‘Inflorita Rugutu’. Music passes also through my linage, my darling grandfather (RIP) was an extremely talented saxophone player, my cousin is a gifted guitar player and my mom, an excellent choir singer, in her youth.
Nevertheless, I was also a big militant of education, studying hard and planning every single stage of my life. This is how I followed a very formal and structural path – bachelor in Management studies in Bucharest, Advanced Management studies in Brussels, Belgium, Development Studies in Paris, France and one internship in a European funded project management which led to a full-time job consulting in Paris and then Amsterdam, The Netherlands. My roles were, and continue to be, incredibly impactful (energy and climate change) and really dynamic, work related and socially linked to this unique multicultural aspect. I loved being surrounded by people from all cultures, learning about their traditions, tasting their food, understanding their values and lifestyle. I was in the right place to be learning all of these elements of life that I love so much.
In all this time, ever since high school I had the support of my best friend at the time, Tudor, who became by husband, almost 10 years after we became life partners. I could not be more grateful for his kind and caring support over the years, his selflessness in helping me follow my dream whatever costs. I could not have done this transition without him, and I remain forever thankful.
My dad – there is so much to say about him, but the most important thing is that our relationship is special in every way. He is not only my father, but also my best friend, my confidant and last but not least, my mentor. We have a very special relationship, the exchange of energy between us being very strong. We are in constant contact, even at a great distance. Being a Reiki Master for over 12 years, he offered me tunings in 2010 to practice Reiki healing, but I was not prepared to go that route. Over the years, he has learned and applied energy healing techniques from different cultures, which he has always shared with me, eventually guiding me.
In 2015, I had the honor of receiving the Reiki attunements (again) from the Inamono Sensei (the Founder of Komyo ReikiDo, 4th in line after the great Master Mikao Usui, the father of Reiki). That was the beginning of my immersion into this world. I have then started to offer Reiki therapy sessions, in my spare time, to my family, friends and acquittances. The feedback and results I have received have always been impressive. This encouraged me to start my journey into self-discovery and find my own direction.
It was in 2020, before turning the beautiful age of 30 years old that I had one of the most powerful experiences through participating in a Light, Sound and Vibration session in the Pyramids of Chi, in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia (Pic). The combination of being in a pyramid shaped edifice, lying on a bed of water, having your pineal gland stimulated by strong, but warming light and your auditive senses caressed by different ancestral sound (gongs, didgeridoo, Tibetan bowls and so many others) was explosive. I knew at that very moment, that my practice needed to include light, through color and sound to be complete. Pranic healing and sound healing international trainings completed my Reiki formation and practical experience, so that what I offer through my practice is well documented and certified.
The events that followed after this moment (See article here) were decisive for me to concentrate on opening up publicly my own healing practice using energy, sound and color.
Seek in life whatever makes you whole and judge it by how many lives you managed to positively impact when you say goodbye to this existence.
